Graduated at the University of Bologna. Specialist in veterinary radiology at the University of Torino. Residency program in diagnostic imaging at University of Zuerich and the university of Torino. Travel Award and Resident Prize at the EAVDI/ECVDI European Congress, Murcia 2002, with the project “CT-guided biopsy in the skeleton”. Diplomate of the European College of Diagnostic Imaging (DECVDI). Author and coauthor in 239 scientific studies, 114 of them in scientific journals. Coeditor and/or coauthor of the books “Radiology of the dog and cat” (Poletto Editore, 2005), “Veterinary Computed Tomography” edited by Tobias Schwarz and Jimmy Saunders (Wiley-Blackwell, 2011) and “Manual of first aid and traumatology in small animals” edited by Fabio Vigano, (Elsevier, 2013). President of the Italian Society of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (SVIDI) from 2001 to 2004. Coordinator for diagnostic imaging of the Post University school, SCIVAC, Cremona, from 2005 to 2010. Adjunct professor at the University of Naples from 2007 to 2009. Lecturer at the School of Specialization in Clinic and Pathology for Pet Animals from 2007 to 2008, Master of Oncology and Master of Diagnostic Imaging (2008 to date) at the University of Pisa. Lecturer at the Master of Diagnostic Imaging, University of Camerino from 2010 to 2013. He obtained the Academic degree of Doctor in Veterinary Sciences (PhD) at the University of Ghent, 2010. Since December 2015 he is Professor at the University of Teramo, and consultant for the Veterinary Clinic Pet Care in Bologna, Italy. His fields of interest are radiology, ultrasound, CEUS, computed tomography, and interventional radiology. Graduated also in Sports Science in November 2018 with the thesis: “Correlation between vision training and batting in baseball”.
John Graham
MVB, MSc, DVR, MRCVS, DECVDI, DACVR
John Graham graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of University College in Dublin, Ireland. He worked for five years in mixed animal and small animal practice in the United Kingdom. He then completed a residency program in diagnostic imaging in the Department of Clinical Radiology of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden. He was a visiting lecturerin veterinary radiology at the School of the Veterinary Medicine, Onderstepoort, South Africa. He joined the faculty at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida, working there until 2003. He has worked in private referral practice in the USA and Canada. He now works as a radiologist for Idexx Telemedicine. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology and of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. He has spoken at national and international meetings, coauthored many scientific papers and contributed to and written several textbooks. He is interested in all facets of small animal diagnostic imaging. In his spare time, Dr. Graham enjoys road and mountain biking, skiing, reading, cooking and travel.
